I am an Assistant Professor and Statistician in the School of Computer Science at the University of Guelph, and as of January 2017, the Director of the Physical Science & Engineering Education Research (PSEER) centre at the University of Guelph. I am also co-founder of Farm To Fork: a project which aims to improve the quality and quantity of food donated to food banks and pantries by connecting donors with the real-time needs of emergency food providers, co-founder of GuelphHacks: an interdisciplinary annual hackathon that brings students together to solve broad social challenges, and co-creator of the Ideas Congress (ICON) Transdisciplinary Classroom.
My research interests span statistics, computer science, biology, pedagogy, and community-engaged scholarship.
I teach CIS2170, CIS3750, CIS4900, and CIS4910, MATH4600, and STAT4600, and the transdisciplinary ICON classroom.
