I am happy to announce that Xuan Luo, MASc student at the University of British Columbia, is the newest Mitacs Accelerate intern for the Wireless Mobile Mesh Network research program.
Xuan will be working on Objective 4.2 – Evaluation of Micropayment Channels Performance Limits, and the Effect on Network Performance Evaluation of Micropayment Channels Performance Limits, and the Effect on Network Performance of the broader research program.
Xuan joins Nic Durish, MSc student at the University of Guelph, as the second intern working on the research program. Nic is exploring Objective 2.2 – Decolonizing & Indigenizing the Software Design Process.
Xuan Luo is currently a Master’s student at the University of British Columbia. Her research area is in payment channels. She received B.Eng. from Tongji University in 2011. Before joining the University of British Columbia, she worked as a Java developer for several global companies including SAP and DELL EMC for six years.
