Congratulations to Keefer Rourke and Marshall Asch. Keefer has been named as the 2018/2019 recipient of the Michele & Maria Vannelli Scholarship, and Marshall has been awarded the Dr. James Linders Scholarship in Computer Science.
The Michele & Maria Vannelli Scholarship is awarded to a student with a high cumulative average who has demonstrated a commitment to community engagement. The Dr. James Linders Scholarship is awarded to the third year student with the highest average in the core Computer Science courses in the School of Computer Science at the University of Guelph.
Both Keefer and Marshall are part of the team working on the eNuk health and environment monitoring program. They are also members of the team working with Left to develop and evaluate the RightMesh wireless mobile mesh platform.
Keefer was recently awarded the Jay Majithia Scholarship in Computer Science and was selected as the winner of the Ethical Tech Initiative. Marshall was awarded an internship this past summer with Left to continue work on one of the winning projects from the 2018 Improve Life Challenge.
