Over the past few weeks there has been a lot of activity surrounding the Farm To Fork project. While the team continues to redevelop the website and build the mobile application to facilitate expansion and make donating easier, we’ve been honoured with several awards. We’ve also partnered with several organizations.
Two weeks ago the Farm To Fork development team – Corey Alexander, Oliver Cook, and Lee-Jay Cluskey-Belanger – were awarded the Be The Change award at the University of Guelph Student Life Awards Banquet. Our community partners – Kate Vsetula and Lisa Needham were also honoured with the Emilie Hayes Community Partnership award.
The Farm To Fork project was also honoured when it was selected to be the charitable partner for the Speed River Inferno Downtown Road Mile event, and for the upcoming Guelph’s Best Sandwich competion. The Speed River Inferno Downtown Road Mile takes place May 29, 2015 at 7:30pm. Guelph’s Best Sandwich event was announced at Good Working 3 and is still being organized – so I’ll post more information as it becomes available.
